Top 1 Oil Products Company is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Josh and Anna Hogan and their organization, Quads Across Africa. Quads Across Africa is an organization with two goals in mind; 1. Be the first to traverse the African continent on Quads (ATV’s) and 2. Raise US$100,000.00 for better healthcare in Africa. Although Top 1 is keen top help Josh and Anna achieve their goal of traversing the African continent on Quads, it is their humanitarian effort to provide better healthcare in Africa that made this sponsorship worthwhile to Top 1.
Josh and Anna will be starting their journey on August 15, 2007 and upon completion of their trip, they will have traveled 30,000 miles (48,000 KM). As far as raising awareness and money for better healthcare in Africa, Quads Across Africa will team up with
Riders for Health to accomplish their charity goals.

Joshua Patrick Hogan
Born March 1st 1975 in Abbottsford British Columbia.
Josh received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California Maritime Academy. Josh has traveled extensively but only after a near death experience and a fractured pelvis did Josh decided to pursue his childhood dream and ride a Motorcycle around the world. It was on this trip where he met not only his partner but the love of his life, Anna Gorska.
After traveling and seeing the disparity between our culture and many others of the world Josh is now trying to give back to some of the places that have brought him so much joy in life.
Anna Edyta Gorska (Hogan)
Born October 20th 1982 in Jedzrzejow, Poland.
Anna spent 8 years studying Tourism and Hotel management at Wyzsza Szkola Zarzadzania Rospodarka Regionalna I Turystyka (a prestigious school in Poland) Upon completion of her studies she received an internship with a large resort company on the Greek Island of Corfu. On one fateful day she met a lone motorcyclist who was in the middle of a journey to ride around the world and the rest as they say is....history.
To date Anna has traveled to almost half of the countries in Africa and because of the many beautiful places and amazing people, it is a place she will continue to visit for the rest of her life. The biggest lesson Anna has learned from traveling is how to appreciate the simple things, and how much we can do for the others. Traveling has showed her how little, people really need to be happy.
About Riders for Health. Riders for Health have worked for over 15 years on the problem of delivery systems for healthcare in Africa. We work with ministries of health, UN agencies and other NGOs. Our main resource centre is in the UK while our programme staff are all nationals of the countries in which we work.
We are self-funded with no government support. Our origins are in the sport of motorcycle racing and successful fundraising at motorcycling events and races enables us to support our pioneering field initiatives, ensuring that motorcycles continue to save lives in Africa.
