 Jonah Street is in Australia, for the Australian Safari Rally. Jonah took his first ride on his Top 1 Oil Ross Mitchell & Associates Yamaha Australia WR450F yesterday, and was pleased with the setup.
He will head out this morning for another suspension testing ride, and then the race starts heading for Perth, about 4000 miles away, tomorrow.
The media attention is huge.. Jonah was interviewed by the rally's media director yesterday and is scheduled for several radio interviews next week.
It's only going to get more and more hectic with media as Jonah showcases his riding talents in Australia for the first time.
Before the start of the race Jonah had these comments regarding his first Australian Safari Rally, "I'm not nervous but I am excited and ready to ride." I would like to win, that's my goal. I've not come all this way to finish second. It's going to be different kind of race to those I'm used to, as I've always been better at riding for nine hours straight, compared to a few stages each day."
