Top 1 Rider, Jonah Street dominated the eight day, 3,700 kilometers Rally Mongolia navigation racing. Jonah took four-out-of-seven individual stage victories and finished Rally Mongolia more than three-hours ahead of the nearest bike competitor at the finish.

With his victory, Jonah Street becomes the first American to win the Rally Mongolia and adds a sixth continent to his "where-I've-raced" record.

It was on short notice that Jonah Street, America's top Motorcycle Rally Racer, even decided to enter the 2010 Rally Mongolia. But with persistent influence from his Rally Pan Am teammate and friend Mike Shirley and the dedication of his faithful sponsors, Jonah fully committed and signed up a few weeks before the beginning of the event.

With the race held in such a remote area of the world, stage reports and results from Mongolia were slow to trickle in during the week of competition. Machine translations of race reports from the Japanese promoting group and the lack of consistent phone and internet service made following the adventurous race as a fan into a navigational chore in itself.

Please, join Top 1 in congratulating Jonah on his latest victory and we all look forward to great things from Jonah in the 2011 Dakar Rally!

TOP 1 Rider Cameron Beaubier Wins 2nd Pro SuperSport Race

Mazda Technologies and Cameron Beaubier win Sunday's PRO SuperSport Race at Infineon Raceway.

Today marked Cameron Beaubier's second AMA victory in a season plagued with red flags. With Cameron 4 seconds in the lead,  points leader Joey Pascarella crashed on the exit of turn 11 leaving his Ducati in the middle of the track, and the red flag came out again in an almost repeat performance of yesterday's race.  But unlike yesterday, Cameron got a fantastic start and lead the pack into turn 1.  For the remainder 9 lap sprint, Cameron took charge and took the checkered flag with a 5 second margin. This win is Cameron's second AMA pro win of the season.

"Cameron did exactly what we knew he could do, which was run away" says Shawn Herrera the owner of Mazda Technologies.  Cameron did not run his normal Rockwall Yamaha, but a private bike owned by his family in Rockwall livery, and sponsored by Mazda Technologies.  "We had a fantastic volunteer crew this weekend…in addition to Jeff Beaubier as the master tech, we had Michael Aron of Mojotown (a local AFM Champion and shop owner), as well as Roland Cushway and Andrew Duafalla with last minute assistance to ensure the bike, rider and team had everything covered," explained Herrera.

"It was great to have the opportunity to work with Cameron and the Mazda Technologies team this weekend, especially with Sunday's results.  We wanted Cameron to show everyone why he was on the pole, and he didn't disappoint. He rode a flawless race," Says Aron.

"This was an important weekend for Mazda Technologies as we try to secure additional sponsors and support for more of the West coast races. Cameron normally runs with Rockwall for the East Coast series.  With the upcoming Laguna Seca round we wanted to put on a good show so we can secure additional sponsorship for Cameron to showcase his talents," mentioned Herrera.
